Thursday 5/7/09 – Odd Day 3 of 6

Today is a unique day in that the date is made up of 3 consecutive odd numbers (5-7-9). There are only 6 this century total and this is #3. Then there will be 90 years gone by before we get it again. So happy National Odd Day!

How many zeros in a billion?

This is too true to be funny.

The next time you hear a politician use the
word ‘billion’ in a casual manner, think about
whether you want the ‘politicians’ spending
YOUR tax money.

A billion is a difficult number to comprehend,
but one advertising agency did a good job of
putting that figure into some perspective in
one of it’s releases.

I am happy to report that everything went smoothly in my migration to a web hosting service. It seems as though it is paying off already in that media loads much quicker now. So far I am very happy with the service and most likely will stick with them.

I will be migrating the website to a web hosting service this weekend. I need to do this to speed things up and to free up bandwidth on my home connection. There should be minimal times when the doamin does not respond at all but some content may be unavailable for brief periods.

So I went to the 1 of many “Tea Party’s” on 4/15. I went to the one in Dallas figuring it would be the bigger one in the area. But from what I understand the Fort Worth party was as big or bigger. And they had Gov. Perry at theirs as well.

Been playing around with various picture presentations. This one is really cool. But it takes a few seconds to preload the preview images. But it is not too bad. Check it out
