The Broadcast NightmareFor the hardcore rockers. Checkout my newest page dedicated to The Broadcast Nightmare. 2 of the memebrs are sons of a friend of mine so I went to a local gig to take some pics for them and figured I would put some up here. Honestly I think I could have done a better job but I got there just minutes before they started and between the low lighting and the fast movement of these young thrashers it took a while to get the settings right on the camera. I will shoot them again the next time they make it into town. Unless they are already huge hits. Then I will have to step aside and let the real photographers take over. ;)

These kids are good. You old farts that frequent this site can leave you head phones at the door. Don’t start the youtube click as these kids kick some major ass and I do not want to be responsible if your heart stops upon listening. But have no fear you can still view the pics and critique me all you want. There is no background music on the page itself. Just the youtube video slide show I put up.

And if the guys from TBN like any of the pics and want high res versions just shoot me a note and I will email them to you. The ones on the youtube vid are extremely stepped down in resolution and the pics on the page are web optimized as well, which is just a fancy way of saying they were stepped down quite a bit too to make it web browsing speed friendly. The originals are not too big though. I did not shoot in RAW mode (in hindsight I should have). So they are only about 4-6mb each and the camera I was using shoots at 15 mega pixels. Do with them as you please. And if you ever want the youtube video down for whatever reason just shoot me a note.

how about some more info about the pics themselves? include the exif data would be nice. there was obviously high iso used as well for the most part it seems slow shutter to try to get the exposure in range. I see a bit of motion blur and have been plagued with that in the past myself in low light yet lots of moving subjects.
